Crown City Tree connects Corona-area homeowners with experienced local tree care professionals. We are a marketing and lead-referral service. All tree work is performed by independent licensed contractors operating under their own license, bond, and insurance. Crown City Tree does not perform tree work directly.

Contractor licensing

Tree work in California requiring a contractor (typically jobs over $500) falls under California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) regulation, most commonly under the C-61/D-49 (Tree Service) classification. The independent contractors we connect homeowners with maintain active California licenses, workers' compensation insurance, and general liability insurance. Documentation is available on request before any work begins.

Insurance and liability

Because the work is performed by independent contractors, the legal responsibility for performance and any damages arising from the work rests with the contractor performing the job, not with Crown City Tree. This is a common and well-established structure in home services. It means homeowners get the benefit of working with vetted local professionals while the contractors retain control over their work and insurance arrangements.

How quoting works

Quotes are provided by the contractor performing the work after an on-site visit. Pricing ranges shown elsewhere on this site are general 2025–2026 Corona-area estimates and not specific quotes. Final pricing depends on the specific job and is committed in writing before work begins.
